1.1 Heating and heating of air
Air heating is generally carried out by steam and electric heating. Steam heating is a heating method using heat sinks, while electric heating is mainly heated by electric heating tubes or far-infrared tubes.
1.2 Humidification of the air
An air purification system with humidification function, that is, a humidification device is added to the function of purifying air to achieve the effect of "purification + humidification". Air humidification is generally carried out by means of saturated steam and spraying water mist.
1.3 Air drying
Air drying generally adopts the methods of cooling, dehumidification and physical absorption.
Cooling and dehumidification is to use the surface cooler to cool in the air-conditioning box, so that the temperature of the humid air drops to the dew point, and the water is analyzed and discharged from the water pan to meet the requirements of dehumidification; while physical absorption mainly uses hygroscopic agents (such as silica gel, active carbon, lithium chloride, calcium chloride, etc.) to absorb moisture to achieve drying requirements. The latter requires regeneration to reduce the absorbent.
1.4 Air cooling
Air cooling basically uses the surface cooler to absorb heat to achieve the purpose of air cooling, and the cold source is provided by the chiller.
The commonly used chillers can be divided into volumetric and absorption types. The commonly used volumetric units are piston type and screw type, while the absorption type is mainly composed of lithium bromide units.
1.5 Air purification
Air purification refers to making the dust content in the air meet the environmental requirements by filtering. There are three types of air filters in common use today: viscous packing filters, dry fiber filters, and electrostatic filters.
Viscous packing filters and electrostatic filters are rarely used in pharmaceutical air conditioners, and dry fiber filters are mainly used.

(1) The material and form of the filter: The filter material of the filter includes glass fiber, synthetic fiber, asbestos fiber, and filter paper and filter cloth made of these fibers, which are commonly used in bag type and plate type.
(2) The dust filtering principle of the filter: The dust filtering of the filter mainly achieves the purpose of filtering dust through interception, inertia, diffusion, gravity and static electricity.
(3) There are 4 main assessment indicators of the air filter: efficiency, resistance, dust holding rate and filtration speed.
①Filter efficiency η: refers to the percentage of the ratio of the amount of dust captured by the filter to the amount of dust entering the filter under the rated speed and air volume, so the larger the value, the better. In addition to the filtration efficiency, the filtration capacity of the filter is also commonly expressed by the penetration force K. The penetrating power can visually represent the performance of the filter. For example, the filtration efficiency of two high-efficiency filters are 99.9% and 99.8% respectively. The filtration performance is almost the same on the surface, but the former is 0.1% and the latter is 0.2% in terms of penetrating power. The difference between the two is 1 times.
②Filter resistance: The filter resistance is one of the main components of the total resistance of the air conditioning system, and it increases with the increase of the air volume passing through the filter. When evaluating the resistance of the filter, it refers to the rated air volume. In addition, when the filter sticks to dust, its resistance increases with the increase of the amount of dust. Therefore, the resistance before dust is generally set as the initial resistance, and the resistance when it is to be replaced is set as the final resistance.
③ Dust holding capacity of the filter: When the resistance of the filter reaches the final resistance under the rated air volume, the quality of the dust particles contained in the filter is called the dust holding capacity of the filter.
④The surface speed and filtration speed of the filter: The surface speed refers to the speed of the airflow passing through the windward area, and it is also the wind speed that is often measured. The filtration rate refers to the speed of the air flow on the filter material area. Its speed can express the main performance index of the filter. The classification and efficiency testing of air filters are generally divided into coarse efficiency (also known as primary efficiency), medium efficiency, sub-efficiency and high efficiency according to the level of filtration efficiency.
